The title of this blog post ‘the secret to writing blog posts’ might be a little bit of misdirection, but not really as I know a lot of people are in the same boat.

If anyone told you that marketing online would be as easy as counting 1-2-3 completely forgot to tell you that you would also need some calculus, differentials, stats, geometry and algebra as well as compound numbers knowledge as well.

Ok, maybe not quite so intricate but it almost feels that way.

This is the case that i’m talking about.

You get to your computer.  You’re told that making an extra $1000 to $2000 bucks a month is feasible using social media but you have to write blog posts consistently, especially in the beginning.

Ok, easy enough…first blog post, piece of cake, no problem.

Second post (next day)…it’s not so bad, I can do this.

Day three,..oh, theres not really much to say today, so i’m just going to skip it and write about something tomorrow.

Theres were the consistency already gets screwed up.

Well, I know I haven’t been the most consistent, but I had an idea.  What if I literally just wrote whatever i had in my head, my experience for the day, something i’ve read or heard…thats content right?

Now the matter is just doing it.

I keep thinking all the gurus and experts in the world of internet marketing out there didn’t sit scratching there heads wondering what to say and then getting distracted with all the youtube videos and blogs that other people do.

Talk about that if you have to.

Here are some ideas for some posts:

  1. tips from your particular interest
  2. something that happened to you during the day
  3. lesson learned from any type of entertainment/media
  4. a quick social media tip
  5. make a video/audio/or type it out
  6. a reply to another blog post

I mean the list can go on and on and on.

Like this post, yes maybe it’s silly, but it’s also real and I know it.  I am going to do better as far as consistency is concerned because I have a lot to say.

I was sitting here burning some cd’s and thought what the hay, make a post already, it’s been ages.

I actually like writing these posts because I know the more I do it, the easier it will become and in turn I’ll get better and better at it which.

It’s what anyone new to blogging should keep in mind and remind themselves when they start.

So, stick your fingers on the keyboard, or pen on tablet, whatever you’re using and start posting already.

The world needs to hear what you have to say!
